Bovie Medical Corporation , a maker of medical devices and supplies and the developer of J-Plasma®, a patented new surgical product, announced today that it has closed its previously-announced registered underwritten public offering of 4,800,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $2.50 per share.
